Cracker Barrel in Ashland

This was my first visit to the crackle barrel and the food was great but I more impressed by all the cool items and things that they had in the store😳😳 !! It was coolest Crackle Barrel store that I have seen so far !! The staff was very friendly, had big smiles and our waitress Perri was ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS 🤗🤗🤗 !!! I definitely do recommend this location to others!! 🤣🤣🤣🤩🤩🤩

The food was great. The wait staff was wonderful. This location had a calming Christmasy vibe. The fireplace that was lit was so beautiful and relaxing.

Went on a Saturday afternoon at about 1:30 Had a wonderful waitress. Very attentive and a very pleasant personality. The food was very good. All at my table enjoyed. Hats off to the chef that made the buttermilk pie. So much like my mother and grandmothers homemade pie. It was a hard day for me as it was the anniversary of my husband's death. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful. Thank you for making my day a little easier. 💛

It's a cracker barrel. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. They were pretty eager to get our online order right (the second time).

Had to wait 10 mins to be seated with only a hand full of people in the restaurant. Restroom was dirty toilet paper and paper towels laying on the floor.

One of my favorite restaurants! Delicious southern food and nice gift shop. I always stop at one of the restaurants when I travel.

I tried their fried chicken lunch dish. Had it with the fried okra and turnip greens. Ah yes, a great lunch it was! The chicken didn't have a thick breading on it. Crisp and crunchy and the chicken was tender. You got four pieces, breast, thigh, wing and drumstick. I highly recommend the chicken! The sweet tea was perfect. 🤠

This place is where I could eat everyday. Hot food. good taste, profession staff and priced reasonably. So what's the story...good stuff.

Sam was our waiter, and was absolutely the best. For and drinks were there before we finished ordering. I know the Rona sucks, but that was the best dinner at Cracker Barrel ever.

You can never go wrong with homemade pancakes. I like the store and the selection of merchandise. Love the rocking chairs would had love to purchase one but car was to small. I tried their fried chicken for the first time it was not bad. I'm very picky when it comes to my chicken. Overall feel of the place was good.

It was clean, service was very quick. Food was hot and prepared the way we wanted.

Delicious Food & Great Customer Service! If you want a reasonably priced, quality meal, you need to stop by here! I will be back to eat some more delicious food soon!

The staff was friendly and personable. Creating a fun environment for a standard Cracker Barrel Restaurant. My server was attentive and provided refreshed drinks before we needed to ask. Over all a good experience.

Prompt service. They were out of mashed potatoes!?! But, they didn't tell me when I ordered. They told me when they delivered my food without them. That seemed odd to me, and disappointed me. I changed my order because of it, and they DID deliver more food (without side bread). But, my husband had finished eating by the time it arrived. So, I took my food to go and reheated it later. Overall, just not a good experience.

The waitress was trying her best and changed my order "to make it cheaper" was not what I ordered... food was under cooked or full of fat and VERY under cooked

I have always loved this place for great breakfasts and the comfort food dinners! Went there Thanksgiving morning for breakfast and they now have Specialty coffees on their menu, hot or iced!!! I got a nice hot Mocha and it was excellent!

I love Cracker Barrel. I haven’t really had a bad experience at any of them honestly. I think our waiters name was Ronnie and he was so nice! I always get the chicken and dumplings, Mac and cheese, and fried apples. It’s so delicious!

Delicious Food and Friendly Service!

Called for take out, it was ready on time.Food was good.Their parking lots are the best if you are driving a Motor home, pulling a big trailer or anything over size.

Oh man I selected their French toast dish and it was the best version that I'd tasted in my 35 years of life! The antique ambience pulled me in, the customer service was super awesome, and I really adored how they have the shopping section where you can carry your experience with you, or travel back down memory lane. I'll definitely go back at some point!

Nice and clean with the fire going! We were seated right away and had our order placed and delivered within 10 minutes. Great tasting food and friendly staff.

This is a wonderful store, restaurant experience. The food is excellent. The service is amazing. And the people are wonderful. I love that this is just next to the interstate. If you are looking for a nice sit-down restaurant that also has some good shopping ideas, clean restrooms and a break from driving, stop at Ashland VA and check out this cool place.

Me and my family stoped here on our way back up to New York from South Carolina. We waited about 3-5 minutes to get seated. When we sat down our waiter didn't have a pen to take our order. How ever people make mistakes and we are human. The food was great. 4 STARS

I have been to a few Cracker Barrels. I gotta say that this is a very nice one. The holiday decorations in addition to the roaring fireplace made for a great setting to eat/dine!

Absolutely terrible. Okay, the service was decent (because there were like 5 people there total) but I got the fish fry which is the special on Fridays. You get like 8 steak fries and then the fish looked like it was out of a box from foodlion. Next, my wife got the chicken and dumplings that was just like a big grey creamy mix of gravy and tasted blander than anything I've ever had. Do not recommend even if you're just driving through like we were. One star.

The food is always pretty good. What would make it better would be if they would sell a beer with your meal.

We'd ordered chicken, beef and fish and each was good, so everyone was happy with their choice. The server "Ronnie" was quick, cheerful and attentive even though we were there on a super- busy Saturday evening. We'll be sure to try them again when we're in the area.

Crowded but got a table in 5 minutes. Grilled chicken Caesar salad was delicious.

I ordered French toast and it was horrible, it was like someone cracked an egg on top of bread. I don't know if the cooks were having a bad day. Would not recommend this location.

curbside service was excellent. Every body at cracker barrel had a very pleasant attitude it was nice to see everybody’s spirits were so high and such a hard time. The food was very tasty little portions were excellent and the presentation for takeout was great. Looking forward to going back to that Cracker Barrel.

Absolutely LOVE Cracker Barrel! Great waitress, Ahhhhhhmazing food, and all around wonderful place! I personally love Cracker Barrel, my husband and I are on the road a lot working and are from TN so eating at Cracker Barrel is a little like 'being home'!

Great food this particular Location. Food was delicious well seasoned and piece of fish was a nice thick piece. There is only one downside that I didn’t give it up but is it was a little on the cool side. It is 1140 now and it wasn’t that busy so it should’ve been brought out quicker. I had the cod.

Had a decent meal. Got a fried chicken breast with 2 sides - when they say chicken breast - it's not a traditional breast with bone in.The breading tasted a little off - the green beans and salad were great which helped.

I always enjoy going to Cracker Barrel. This night was dinner during a work trip. The wood burning fireplace was beautiful. I felt like I was at a lodge. Can't wait to visit one again.

It's Cracker Barrel...always good consistent food, but not always consistent service. Won't stop me from going there. Love the country cooking that you can't get other places.

Tried-and-true! We have visited Cracker Barrel's all up and down the east coast and it never disappoints. The efficiency and friendliness of the staff varies from location to location but our waiter at this location was pretty good.

This place is awesome. The roast beefdinner is the best. The waitress are special. Go e them a raise

I've always enjoyed coming to the Cracker Barrel and this time was no exception. It was busy and we still got our food in a very timely matter. My dinner was excellent. It was hot and tasty. I ordered the sampler with a few sides and everything was great. Service though is very slow. Not sure if that's a southern thing, but up north is much different. Still very good...

Food was delicious and our server Ronny was exceptional. He has a welcoming personality. Who knew the Blueberry syrup with bits of blueberries was "that" good.

Young man named Eric served us. He was quick, kind, courteous and clean. Food was excellent. Fire was going on a rainy night. Just a great dining experience.
